Man as a rational and free being has always felt the need for internal development. In this case, internal life is not only his reference to the world of material and immaterial values, but also an expression of his openness to transcendent reality. Contemporary living people often look for authorities in the field of internal life that could lead them on the paths of discovering the secrets of the human soul. One of such masters of internal life is Father Jacek Woroniecki – the article is therefore an attempt to read the idea of internal life, which this outstanding Dominican included in his scientific work.

Człowiek jako istota rozumna i wolna od zawsze odczuwał potrzebę rozwoju wewnętrznego. Życie wewnętrzne stanowi w tym przypadku nie tylko jego odniesienie się do świata wartości materialnych i niematerialnych, ale również wyraz jego otwarcia się na rzeczywistość transcendentną. Artyzm romantyzmu pozwolił autorowi modelować integralność okresu post-rewolucyjnego w trakcie jego rozwoju wskazując na ciągłość życia, duchowe wartości człowieka, który potrafi postrzegać świat jako całość i dialektyczne przeciwieństwa. Obraz człowieka nowych czasów z głębią jego subiektywnych wrażeń, wpływ ukrytego wewnętrznego życia jednostki na historię są decydujące w twórczości mistrza słowa i dały grunt dla nowej fali utworów na temat kolektywizacji wsi, egzystencjalnego „ja” w nowych warunkach ekonomicznych.

Mikhas Zaryetzky’s 1920–1930works display his multiaspect vision of problems of man. Romantic art gave M. Zaryetzky an opportunity to model the integrity of the post-revolutionary times in the process of its development bringing to light the continuous movement of life, spiritual constants of man who is able to apprehend the world in its cosmic integrity and dialectical contradictions. The image of man of new times with the depth of his subjective experience, the influence of his internal life on historical processes were in the centre of the writer’s works and gave way to works devoted to collectivization, country, existential “I” of man in new economic conditions.

Private notes of Karol Wojtyła – John Paul II just on the moment of death of their author excited big interest between the people. The pope wrote in the testament, his secretary Msgr. Dziwisz has to fire all the documents, he left. Card. Stanisław Dziwisz didn’t accomplish the will of pope, because he was convinced, it is very important document, showing the interior life of John Paul II. Recently, the Publishing House Znak printed this Private notes (Krakow 2014) giving to the publicity to know the spiritual life of Karol Wojtyła – John Paul II. The Private notes are some kind of “diary of the soul” showing deeper life with God of Karol Wojtyła as bishop of Krakow, cardinal and pope. They are giving the possibility to enter in the mystery of the soul of John Paul II, to know his life of prayer, meditation and his relation to God and to Blessed Virgin Mary.

Papież napisał w testamencie, że jego sekretarz prałat Dziwisz powinien spalić wszystkie dokumenty, które zostawił. Kard. Stanisław Dziwisz nie wypełnił woli papieża, ponieważ był przekonany, że jest to zbyt ważny dokument pokazujący życie wewnętrzne Jana Pawła II. Wydawnictwo Znak opublikowało Notatki osobiste (Kraków 2014), dając możliwość poznania życia duchowego Karola Wojtyły – Jana Pawła II. Notatki osobiste są pewnego rodzaju „dziennikiem duszy”, który odsłania głębsze życie z Bogiem Karola Wojtyły jako biskupa krakowskiego, kardynała i papieża. Notatki pozwalają wniknąć w tajemnicę duszy Jana Pawła II, poznać jego życie modlitwy, medytację i relację z Bogiem i Matką Bożą.

This reflection on the theme of Saint Joseph in Priestly Formation and in the Life of Priests is the result of the author’s experience of constantly discovering the influence of St. Joseph on the seminary and on priestly life. The Major Seminary of the Diocese of Kalisz has chosen Saint Joseph, guardian of the Universal Church, as its patron. Seminarians take part in the activities at the Shrine of St. Joseph. At the beginning of the formational year they make an act of entrustment which is repeated after ordination to the priesthood. The article intends to answer the following question: What is the meaning of Saint Joseph’s example and presence for priestly life and formation? On the basis of events presented in the Bible and the pronouncements of recent Popes, St. Joseph is presented as a patron and an example of priestly life. His role in one’s inner life is particularly emphasized. The presence of St. Joseph has a unique meaning for both the formation of those preparing for the priesthood and the life of those who are already priests. His example helps forming the priest’s fatherly attitude, as that of a man. St. Joseph teaches priests how to relate properly to Christ. He is an example of how to relate to Mary and, through Mary, to women in general.

In Norwid's works continuation is seen of the Romantic predilection for details, for concrete facts, but the poet moves them from the space of the outer world to the dimension of man's inner reality. The first generation Romantics approach history, for example, through a detail of the landscape. For Norwid history is a context for revealing the inner man (Kleopatra i Cezar). It also happens that history, like in Promethidion, appears in its entanglement in relations with art, beauty and work. In such a configuration the key character of conscience is revealed as a category in a special way connected with the flow of time, with history.
