Melancholy is usually associated with the feeling of satiety, fatigue, suffering, and longing for things lost. However, this particular kind of sensibility can also be perceived as an embodiment of ahigher intellect, asource of inspiration, and ahealing power. Melancholy accompanied Zoshchenko all his life. The writer gave it different names but always saw it as adisease which he, as aman and awriter, had to fight. The time when Zoshchenko lived and created his works was not favourable for his concentration on the analysis of his psychological state. The epoch of radical changes in ethical and aesthetic values, of belittling the role of the individual and glorifying the group required different personality traits and different protagonists who should be strong, healthy and unreflective. For Zoshchenko, the way to achieve mental health lay in an attempt to combine the scientific explanation of the causes of melancholy and acultural dialogue on the level of cultural signs. The writer’s “I” is represented in his works by areal, mentally disturbed and highly sensitive artist as well as his doubles: professor Volosatov in Youth Restored, the host of “superfluous men” in Sentimental Tales, Michel Sinyagin, the narrator in Before Sunrise and The Blue Book. They are all contrasted to strong, physically and psychically healthy people, who become the object of their envy. Melancholy, which Zoshchenko tried to cope with all his life, became astimulus for his writing, asoul-saving force, adefense mechanism, and finally — asource of self-knowledge and inner development.

Bezpieczeństwo żywności jest obecnie jednym z najważniejszych obszarów mających wpływ na zdrowie i życie człowieka. Współczesny konsument, posiadając dostęp do szerokiego asortymentu produktów żywnościowych, dokonuje zakupu kierując się posiadaną wiedzą na temat żywności, stylem życia, jak również czynnikami materialnymi. Nie bez znaczenia są również informacje pozyskiwane za pośrednictwem mediów o zagrożeniach związanych z żywnością. Celem artykułu jest próba oceny wiedzy konsumentów na temat bezpieczeństwa spożywanej przez nich żywności oraz stosowanych przez respondentów sposobów ograniczenia zagrożenia. Analiza danych wykazała, że wiedza konsumentów na temat bezpieczeństwa spożywanej przez nich żywności oraz występowania w niej potencjalnych zagrożeń jest niewystarczająca.

Food safety is nowadays one of the most important areas affecting human health and life. The contemporary consumer, having access to a wide range of food products, is purchasing guided by their knowledge about food, lifestyle, as well as material factors. There is also important information obtained through the media about the dangers of food. The article attempts to assess consumer awareness of safety of food they consume and to determine the impact of this knowledge on the decisions taken when purchasing food products. The data analysis has shown that consumers’ knowledge of the safety of food consumed by them and the presence of potential hazards in it is insufficient.

Безопасность пищи – в настоящее время одна из самых важных сфер, оказывающих воздействие на здоровье и жизнь человека. Современный потребитель, имея доступ к широкому ассортименту продуктов питания, делает покупки, руководствуясь имеющимися у него знаниями насчет пищи, образом жизни, а также материальными факторами. Не без значения тоже информация, получаемая посредством СМИ, об опасности, связанной с пищей. Цель статьи – попытка оценить знания потребителей насчет безопасности потребляемой ими пищи и способов ограничения опасности, применяемых респондентами. Анализ данных показал, что знания потребителей насчет безопасности потребляемой ими пищи и выступления в ней потенциальных угроз недостаточны.

В статье анализируется система ценностей современного российского менеджера и место здоровья в этой системе. Выделены четыре базовые, с точки зрения менеджеров, ценности: «Здоровье (физическое и психическое)», «Интересная работа», «Любовь (духовная и физическая близость с любимым человеком)», «Счастливая семейная жизнь». По мере нахождения в профессии происходит трансформация ценностей: здоровье выходит на первый план, происходит осознание важности здоровья как общечеловеческой ценности.

W artykule został przeanalizowany system wartości współczesnego rosyjskiego menedżera i miejsce zdrowia w tym systemie. Wyróżnione zostały cztery podstawowe, z punktu widzenia menedżerów, wartości: zdrowie (fizyczne i psychiczne), interesująca praca, miłość (duchowa i fizyczna bliskość z ukochaną osobą), szczęśliwe życie. W miarę przebywania w zawodzie dochodzi do transformacji wartości: zdrowie wychodzi na pierwszy plan, dokonuje się w świadomości zmiana znaczenia zdrowia jako istotnej wartości.

The article analyzes the system of values of modern Russian Manager and the place of health in this system. Identified four basic, from the point of view of managers, value: “Health (physical and mental)”, “Interesting work”, “Love (spiritual and physical intimacy with a loved one)”, “Happy family life”. At least find in the profession the transformation of values: health comes to the fore, there is an awareness of the importance of health as a universal value.

It shows what political instruments the Saudi king currently has in the fight against this phenomenon and what were the political movements of previous kings in this matter.
