В статье рассматривается культура журналистской профессии и те риски, которые могут приводить к профессиональной деформации. Демонстрируется системный подход при анализе профессиональных, личностных качеств и профессиональных ролей журналиста с учетом внутренних, внешних и субъективных факторов.

The article deals with the culture of the journalistic profession and the risks that can lead to professional deformation. Demonstrates a systematic approach in the analysis of professional, personal qualities and professional roles of the journalist with consideration of internal, external and subjective factors. The author claims that journalism culture still exists in quality based media. In turn, he points out that in yellow press journalism culture is narrowed and balanced on the edge of the law, while in social media the information stays biased. The author describes all features necessary to achieve success in practicing journalism. Later, the author of the article focuses readers’ attention on functions of mass media and leading roles played by the journalists.
