Th e paper analyzes the theoretical foundations and principles underlying the social work in micro social environment. It is shown that at the a signifi cant part of the professional discourse and social work methodolatry is based on theories and approaches explaining social reality in terms of struggle and confl ict, development through reform and deconstruction of power. Th is methodological orientation, based on the principles of empowerment and participation is focused on stimulating the natural forms of social activity and self-organization in local communities. Community development reformulated as constructing social relations in local communities can mobilize resources for collective action and social support to overcome the adverse social conditions and circumstances.

В статье анализируются теоретические основания и принципы, лежащие в основе социальной работы в микросоциальной среде. Показано, что в настоящее время значительная часть профессио- нального дискурса и методология социальной работы за рубежом опирается на социальные теории и подходы, объясняющие социаль- ную реальность в терминах борьбы и конфликтов, развития через реформы и деконструкции власти. Такая методологическая уста- новка, опираясь на принцип активизации клиента и принцип уча- стия социальных изменениях, позволяет стимулировать естествен- ные формы социальной активности и самоорганизации в локальных сообществах. Развитие социальных связей в локальных сообществах позволяет мобилизовать ресурсы коллективных действий и соци- альной поддержки, направленные на преодоление неблагоприятных социальных условий и обстоятельств.
