У статті проаналізовано вплив інтелектуальної культури романтизму на праці вітчизняних істориків освіти та педагогічної думки у ХІХ – початку ХХ ст. Досліджено, що на український історико-педагогічний наратив того часу мали вплив ідеалістична концепція «Духу», ідея народу як головного суб’єкта історії, ідеалізація минулих епох та історичних героїв, сублімоване ставлення до християнства, психологізм, який проявлявся у застосуванні методу емпатії, та ін.

The article analyses the impact of the intellectual culture of romanticism on the works of Ukrainian historians of education and pedagogical thinking during 19th – the beginning of 20th century. The study shows that the Ukrainian historical pedagogical narrative of that time was influenced by the idealistic concept of “Spirit”, the idea of nation being the main subject of history, idealization of the bygone centuries and historical heroes, sublimated attitude to Christianity, psychology which was manifested in usage of the empathy method, etc.

В статье выявлены синестезийные основы художественно-эстетического сознания философов, поэтов, композиторов романтической эпохи. На основе анализа эпистолярного и критического наследия композиторов-романтиков определены особенности проявления синестезии в их творческом мышлении. Обосновано значение визуальных, осязательных, вкусовых, кинестетических ощущений в процессах смыслопорождения и образотворчества.

The article reveals synesthesiс foundations of artistic and aesthetic consciousness of philosophers, poets, composers of the Romantic era. Based on the analysis of the epistolary and critical heritage of Romantic composers, the particularities of synaesthesia manifestation in their creative thinking have been identified. The importance of visual, tactile, gustatory, kinesthetic perception in the process of meaning and image creation has been proved.

Строгий стиль виленского классицизма представляет собой крупное явление в архитектуре Восточной Европы наряду с барочным классицизмом, ампиром и рациональным направлением. В статье определен круг построек, имена создателей, характерные черты, особенности и значение виленского классицизма. Значительно расширены сведения о творчестве выдающегося литовского архитектора Л. Стуоки-Гуцявичюса. Доказано, что в 1780-е годы по его проектам было осуществлено строительство дворца католического архиепископа и перестройка костела кармелитов в Могилеве. Показан характер распространения строгого стиля виленского классицизма в архитектуре белорусских и литовских земель. Строгий стиль сознательно выбирало для своих построек патриотически настроенное местное дворянство, демонстрировавшее в повседневной жизни спартанское -рыцарское- поведение. Благодаря этому был создан облик -храмовидного- усадебного дома с простым объемным построением и величественным классицистическим портиком на главном фасаде.

"Strong" style of Vilnius classicism was a great phenomenon in the East European architecture and existed side by side with the baroque classicism or empire style or "rational" style.The paper determines the range of buildings, names of creators, characteristic features, peculiarities and significance of Vilnius classicism. It provides a deeper knowledge of the works of the famous Lithuanian architect V. Stuoka-Gucevičius. It is proved that in 1780 the project of the catholic Bishop's Palace and reconstruction of the Carmelite's Church in Mogiliev have been carried out by this architect.Spreading of Vilnius classicism "strong" style in the Belarussian and Lithuanian architecture was determined. The patriotic domestic nobility chose this style consciously because of their demonstration of the "knight" behavior in everyday life. Thanks to this style a temple appearance of a house was created by a simple space organization and grand classic portico on the main facade.

The article presents the relationship between the motifs of blindness and extrasensory perception in the works of Ukrainian Romantic poets. The author of the article shows the ancient lineage of the great blind men — soothsayers and poets-visionaries — and examines the multifaceted symbolism of blindness based on the literary images of blind kobzars, lirnyks and bandurists. The author focuses on the evolution of symbolism of blindness in the works of Taras Shevchenko.

Дана стаття присвячена висвітленню постаті польського романтика, представника “української школи” в польській літературі, а також видатного соціокультурного діяча в екзилі, Томаша Августа Олзаровського. У першій частині роботи автор представляє окремі елементи біографії письменника, творчу постать і найважливіші літературні твори. Друга частина статті містить роздуми над рукописом віршів, знайденим у Відділі рукописів Національної бібліотеки України ім. Володимира Вернадського в Києві. Конфронтація знайдених текстів з існуючим станом знань дозволила виправити деякі неточності, особливо щодо назв згаданих віршів. Автор має надію, що ця робота стане невеликим внеском у вивчення літературної спадщини Т. А. Олізаровського.

In this paper the author is trying to presenting the figure of a Polish romanticist, a representative of the “Ukrainian school” in Polish literature, and also a prominent socio-cultural activist in exile, Tomasz August Olizarowski. In the first part of the work the author presents selected elements of the writer’s biography and his the most important literary works. The second part of this paper contains reflections on the manuscript of poems, found in the Manuscripts Department of the National Ukrainian Library named after Volodymyr Vernadsky in Kiev. The confrontation of the found works with the existing state of knowledge allowed to correct some inaccuracies, especially regarding the titles of the mentioned poems. It seems that this work can be regarded as a small contribution to the study of the literary legacy of T.A. Olizarowski.

W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono sylwetkę polskiego romantyka, przedstawiciela „ukraińskiej szkoły” w literaturze polskiej, a zarazem wybitnego działacza społeczno-kulturalnego na emigracji, Tomasza Augusta Olizarowskiego. W pierwszej części pracy autor przedstawia wybrane elementy biografii pisarza, jego sylwetkę twórczą oraz najważniejsze dzieła literackie. Druga część niniejszego artykułu zawiera rozważania na temat rękopisu wierszy, odnalezionego w Dziale Rękopisów Ukraińskiej Biblioteki Narodowej im. Wołodymyra Wernadskiego w Kijowie. Konfrontacja znaleziska z istniejącym stanem wiedzy pozwoliła na skorygowanie kilku nieścisłości, zwłaszcza odnośnie do tytułów wspomnianych wierszy. Praca stanowi skromny wkład do badań nad spuścizną literacką T.A. Olizarowskiego.

Józef Ignacy Kraszewski devoted a great deal of space in his literary works to historical Lithuania. The novel Kunigas, written at the end of his life, is also evidence of this fascination. It creatively updates the great themes of Romanticism, even though it chronologically belongs to the period of Positivism. Kunigas. Powieść z podań litewskich [Kunigas. Novels from Lithuanian legends] is proof of the vitality of Romantic ideals and their attractiveness, because to this day the novel still enjoys unremitting popularity among Lithuanian readers. Р

Иосиф Игнатий Крашевский много места в своем литературном творчестве уделял исторической Литве. Свидетельством этого увлечения является также роман Кунигас, написанный в конце его жизни, который творчески актуализирует великие темы романтизма, несмотря на то, что он хронологически относится к периоду позитивизма. Кунигас. Роман из литовской старины доказывает жизненность романтических идей и их привлекательность, ведь роман до сих пор пользуется неослабевающим интересом литовских читателей.

The research goal of this study is to analyse and interpret the multilevel vision of Lithuania in the works of Józef Ignacy Kraszewski – from the myth of the Genesis beginnings, to the myth of the nation and the myth of the land, and mediaeval heroic personal myths. The writer proved the value of the pre-Christian culture of Lithuania by creating its half-fairy, half-historical, story.

Писатель доказывал ценность предхристианской культуры Литвы, создавая ее наполовину сказочное, наполовину историческое прошлое.

Celem badawczym tego szkicu jest analiza i interpretacja wielopoziomowej wizji Litwy w twórczości Józefa Ignacego Kraszewskiego: począwszy od mitu o genezyjskich początkach, poprzez mit o narodzie i mit ziemi, aż po średniowieczne heroiczne mity osobowe. Pisarz dowodził wartości kultury przedchrześcijańskiej Litwy, tworząc jej na poły bajeczne, na poły historyczne dzieje.
