This article is devoted to the evolution of the “pear” nominations common to the Belarusian and Polish languages in the structural and semantic aspects, starting from the Proto-Slavic period, as well as the image of the pear in the languages and folk cultures of both peoples. Firstly, the problem of the relative chronology of the Proto-Slavic names of the pear is revealed. Disclosure is reached on the basis of comparing lexemes with different anlauts and types of nominal declension. Secondly, a comparative analysis of changes in the semantics of the continuums of the Proto-Slavic “pear” vocabulary, which is included in the Belarusian and Polish lexical fund, is carried out. Thirdly, through the identification of similar and differ-rent motives in the lexical and phraseological material of the Belarusian and Polish languages, the problem of updating the linguistic image of the pear in the ethnocultural consciousness of Belarusians and Poles is revealed.

Ten artykuł jest poświęcony ewolucji wspólnych dla języków białoruskiego i polskiego nominacji “gruszowych” w aspektach strukturalnym i semantycznym, począwszy od okresu prasłowiańskiego, i obrazowi gruszy w językach i kulturach ludowych obydwóch narodów. Po pierwsze, ujawnia się problem chronologii względnej nazw prasłowiańskich gruszy. Ujawnienie się odbywa na podstawie porównania leksemów z różnym anlautem i typami odmiany imion. Po drugie, jest prowadzona analiza porównawcza zmian w semantyce kontynuantów prasłowiańskiej leksyki “gruszowej” wchodzącej do białoruskiego i polskiego zasobu leksykalnego. Po trzecie, za pomocą ujawnienia wspólnych i odmiennych motywów w materiale leksykalno-frazeologicznym języków białoruskiego i polskiego uwidocznia się problem aktualizacji językowego obrazu gruszy w świadomości etnokulturowej Białorusinów i Polaków.

Гэты артыкул прысвечаны эвалюцыі агульных для беларускай і польскай моў “грушавых” намінацый у структурным і семантычным аспектах, пачынаючы з праславянскага перыяду, а таксама вобразу грушы ў мовах і народных культурах абодвух народаў. Па-першае, раскрываецца праблема адноснай храналогіі праславянскіх назваў грушы. Раскрыццё ажыццяўляецца на падставе параўнання лексем з розным анлаўтам і тыпамі імяннога скланення. Па-другое, праводзіцца параўнальны аналіз змен у семантыцы кантынуантаў праславянскай “грушавай” лексікі, якая ўвайшла ў беларускі і польскі лексічны фонд. Па-трэцяе, праз выяўленне падобных і адрозных матываў у лексіка-фразеалагічным матэрыяле беларускай і польскай моў раскрываецца праблема актуалізацыі моўнага вобраза грушы ў этнакультурнай свядомасці беларусаў і палякаў.
