Artykuł jest poświęcony Pałacowi Szeremietiewa na Fontance w St. Petersburgu, znanemu jako „Dom na Fontance”, gdzie poetka mieszkała przez prawie 35 lat. Tutaj Achmatowa zaczęła pisać „Poemat bez bohatera”, dramatyczne wyznanie Elizeusza. Wiele wierszy poetki i jej proza związanych jest z tym domem. Dom na Fontance stał się ważnym miejscem jej pracy twórczej.

The article is devoted to the Sheremetev Palace at 34 Fontanka River Embankment in Saint Petersburg, nicknamed Fountain House, in which the poetess lived for almost 35 years. Here Akhmatova began writing her “Poem without a Hero”, the drama of Enum Elish. Many of her poems and her prose are connected with this house. Fountain House became the most important location in her creative activity.
