Artykuł prezentuje wyniki dotychczasowych prac nad „Wielkim słownikiem języka polskiego PAN”. Autorka omawia poszczególne elementy struktury słownika. Z tekstu można dowiedzieć się, jakie typy jednostek językowych opracowano i jaki zakres informacji znalazł się w poszczególnych hasłach. Omówiona została również budowa poszczególnych artykułów hasłowych i sposób korzystania ze słownika.

The paper presents latest results of work on the "Polish Academy of Sciences Great Dictionary of Polish" (Wielki słownik języka polskiego PAN) which can be found on the Internet (http://wsjp.pl). The author describes elements of the dictionary structure. The paper gives us information which types of lexical units were elaborated upon as well as what range of information content found its way to the entries. There is an overview of the structure of each entry and the way in which to use the dictionary.

Artykuł przynosi krotką prezentację najnowszego ogólnego słownika języka polskiego: „Wielkiego słownika języka polskiego PAN”. Projekt jest koordynowany przez Instytut Języka Polskiego PAN i realizowany we współpracy z lingwistami z kilku innych ośrodków akademickich w Polsce. Od końca 2012 roku dostępna jest online pierwsza część haseł słownika, obejmująca około 15 tys. haseł. Autor przedstawia także plany rozwoju słownika w przyszłości.

The paper provides a short presentation of the newest general dictionary of the Polish language: "Polish Academy of Sciences Great Dictionary of Polish" (Wielki słownik języka polskiego PAN). The project is coordinated by the Institute of Polish Language at the Polish Academy of Sciences and carried out in collaboration with linguists and lexicographers from several other Polish academic centres. At the end of 2012 the first part of the dictionary containing about 15 000 entries will be available online. The author also gives some plans for the development of the dictionary in the future.
