Kierunek rozwoju architektury nowych struktur jest tu niewiadomą, choć można domniemywać działania idące w kierunku minimalizmu, abstrakcjonizmu i podkreślania aspektów ekologicznych.

Highly developed countries owe their modern prosperity to the development of industry. A process known as the Industrial Revolution has been going on since the 18th century. Currently, there are four stages of this Revolution. The last of them conceptionally initiated already in 21st century. It is popularly called Industry 4.0. Its idea relies on fully robotization of production in the atmosphere of intelligent cities and buildings. It also involves the return of production from Asian countries to high technology countries. It is expected that there will be significant changes in scheme of employment structure and in the expansion of research structures. There will also be changes in staff training―especially in the field of technical sciences and IT. The direction of development of the architecture of new structures is unknown here. However, it is possible to suppose actions aimed at minimalism, abstractionism and emphasizing ecological aspects.

The research for this article was conducted to illustrate the relationship between social media use and its effect on studying. We found out that there is a relationship between social media use and its impact on teaching and studying, more precisely, that social media can be used with a collaborative purpose while working on a research project and it can strengthen the relationships between students and teachers as well. Over 75 students and 8 teachers completed a survey questionnaire consisting of more than 20 questions. The research shows that a significant relationship is most likely to develop between social media, collaborative research and teaching.

This paper presents the pre-and-post-reflections of English language instructors concerning the incorporation of a new pedagogy in English as foreign language (EFL) writing classes in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This approach is to integrate and blend wiki-mediated writing into a different course plan, with tasks that fit with the normal syllabi used for teaching writing skills. The methodology took a qualitative approach, specifically by conducting semi-structured pre-and-post-interviews. The qualitative analysis focused on the most frequent themes which occur in both cohorts. The participants, who were faculty members in the chosen institution, gave their reflections after they were shown the processes, thoughts and outcomes produced by the participants who actually applied the course and relevant tasks. It is important to identify instructors’ perspectives as this practice can be applied to enhance (novice) non-native learners of writing in English for academic purposes (EAP). Accordingly, this paper intends to shed light on three vital elements: merits, demerits and some principles for implementation.
The paper aims to introduce the definition of 'Web 2.0' and results of survey conducted among the students of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. The assessment of Web 2.0 elements made by inquired students has been presented. Utilization of the Internet tools pointed by responders as the most useful and functional can contribute to an efficiently built, user-friendly library website. Students revealed their critical attitude towards suggested solutions and positively appraised these, which can be implemented and successfully used in library websites. Moreover a general attitude towards Web 2.0, ways of using it in everyday life and perceiving the reliability and usefulness of different sources of information, that are accessible in the Internet, were investigated.
This study examines the potential effectiveness of Web 2.0-supported project-based learning in Jordanian EFL eleventh-grade students’ speaking fluency and accuracy of grammar and vocabulary. The participants of the study were 43 female students who were purposefully selected from two schools at Al-Koura Directorate of Education (Jordan) in the first semester of the academic year 2018/2019. Using a quasi- experimental, pre-/post-test design, the participants were divided into the experimental group (n=21) who was instructed using computerized project-based instruction and the control group (n= 22) who was taught per the guidelines of the prescribed Teacher Book, Action Pack 11. Descriptive statistics and One-Way ANCOVA were used to analyze the students’ scores on the speaking pre-/post-tests. The results showed that the participants instructed through the computerized project-based treatment outperformed those who were conventionally instructed in both speaking fluency and accuracy of vocabulary and grammar. A number of pedagogical implications and recommendations are put forth.
Like in many other Central and Eastern European countries, in 2016, Romanian populist parties were voted by the ‘silent’ citizens, by those feeling deprived and not represented properly. Shortly before that, in 2015, the tragic Colectiv nightclub fire had given birth to a new party: Save Romania Union (USR) that promotes a populist discourse on the ‘corrupt elite’ versus the ‘pure people’. At the beginning, however, the new party did not disseminate messages specific to the nationalist or radical right-wing populists. Another party, endorsed by a news television channel Romania TV, almost succeeded at overpassing the electoral threshold in the 2016 parliamentary election: United Romania Party (PRU) used xenophobic and anti-EU messages during the 2016 general election campaign. My hypothesis is that the extremist electoral messages, the expressions of hatred towards foreigners and Western businessmen or the EU institutions were spread through social networks. Using a content analysis, I shall verify the extent to which the official Facebook pages of the Social Democratic Party (PSD, the direct successor of the Romanian Communist Party), the United Romania Party (PRU) and the Save Romania Union (USR) reflected the antagonism of the ‘pure’ people versus the ‘corrupt’ elite and I shall reveal who these parties identified as the so-called ‘people’s enemies’.
In the era of computerization of libraries it is important to use new channels to reach users. Now, when the model of Library 2.0 becomes increasingly popular, the ways of reaching users are changing overnight. The author of this article has attempted to find out how to use a social networking site in the concept of Web 2.0 as a form of library promotion. The author has chosen Facebook as the world’s most popular social networking site. The goal of the research was to find the answer to a question: Are modern libraries able to fully use the facilities of the portal? The author analyzed the contents of profiles of three university libraries (in Warsaw, Poznań and Toruń) and the reception of this form of promotion. In order to reach the goal, the author used qualitative-heuristics method, considering the following criteria: the frequency of posts, the usage of the wall, the video channel and the photo gallery, link sharing, the contents of posts, access to the library catalogue and keeping information about the library in 'Info' section up to date. The research was done in the period between 1st January 2011 and 31st March 2011.
DSpace, in this article, is described as solution for academic repository and it is compare with widely known Web 2.0 recommendations presented in an great number of web publications and today's solutions. Repository should be usable for him as much as it is possible. DSpace gives administrators and institutions place to make their own upgrades and propose new solutions to increase this usability. This article is also mention about general properties and characteristic of DSpace, especially about record-making and how can end-user make the most of repository sources in Web 2.0 world.
