In this article the author describes the policy of the People's Republic of China during the period of 1949-2007. The article is generally divided into two main parts. First part describes the policy of the PRC in the period of 1949-1979. The second one shows the policy of the PRC in the period of 1979-2007.The main aim of the article is to show how the government of the PRC has changed the methods used concerning the boundary disputes with its neighbors since 1949. Development of these methods was recounted on the basis of historical facts concerning boundary disputes between the PRC and some of its neighbors. The article presents full spectrum of the methods concerning the boundary disputes which PRC has used in the period of 1949-2007 (e.g. economic, military and diplomatic pressures as well as minority policy). This work proves that the main target of the PRC boundary policydominance in the region has never changed since 1949.
