Guaranteeing the appropriate quality of an aerosol product comes down to selecting appropriate packaging and ensuring the specific quality criteria of that packaging. An aerosol package consists of elements whose quality influences the entire aerosol package product. Inspecting the packaging and the producers of aerosol products guarantees the production of aerosol products is done in accordance with finished product requirements. Inspection criteria depend on the type of aerosol package and proper legal directives. The article describes the criteria and types of tests layed out in the legal documentation on aerosol packaging, particularly metal aerosol containers, and the example of the parameters on measuring the procedure during a quality check at one Polish aerosol producer.
