It has been assumed that efficacy of acting in any domain is based on the giftedness, understood as the set of special abilities, intellectual characteristics, and personality traits. Hypothesis has been assumed that particular types of giftedness associated with other domains differ both in the sphere of intellect and personality. The subjects of the study were artistically gifted secondary school students (in the realm of music or the fine arts) and - as the comparative group - the artistically non-gifted ones. The profound specificity of the intellectual and personality components of the musical giftedness and the giftedness in the realm of the fine arts has been demonstrated by finding the variety of characteristics traits which distinguished one of the mentioned types of giftedness from the other. Although not as numerous as the specific characteristic traits, the common characteristic traits have also been found, which is in contradicion to the psychological specificity of the artistic giftedness in general.
