Przedmiotem rozważań jest wartość bieżąca, określona jako zdyskontowana użyteczność przepływów finansowych. Zakładamy tutaj dodatkowo, że: 1 użyteczność bieżącej płatności jest równa jej wartości nominalnej; 2 użyteczność jest nieparzystą funkcją wartości nominalnej płatności. Taka definicja aksjomatyczna wartości bieżącej jest uogólniona do przypadku, w którym wartość bieżąca jest równa liczbie rozmytej. Addytywność wartości bieżącej, efekt dywersyfikacji ryzyka i pierwsze prawo Gossena także były rozważane.

The subject of considerations is the present value defined as the discounted utility of cash flow. We assume here also that: 1° the utility of current payment is equal to its nominal value; 2° the utility is odd function of payment nominal value. This axiomatic definition of present value is generalized to the case in which present value is equal to fuzzy number. Additivity of present value, diversification rule and The First Gossen’s Law are also taken into account.
