Na poziomie funkcjonowania administracji realizowana musi by konstytucyjna zasada "państwa prawa". Coraz bardziej pożądane staje się stosowanie metod zarządzania, które mogą i powinny usprawnić pracę urzędu, rozumianego jako podmiot świadczący konkretne usługi dla obywatela - klienta. Współczesne wymagania stawiane administracji oparte są na nowoczesnych i skutecznych standardach jakościowych ISO 9001. W artykule przedstawiono metodykę wdrażania systemu zarządzania jakością ISO 9001 w administracji publicznej na przykładzie urzędu miasta.

On the level of the workings of an administration has to be realized constitutional principle "the state of right". There are more and more desirable apply to complying management methods, which can and should improve the work of an administration, understood as an organization serves for a concrete citizen - customer. The present requirements directed at the administration are based on modern and effective quality standards ISO 9001. This paper shows the methodology of implementation of the quality management system ISO 9001 in public administration on the example of The Office of the Town.
