W artykule przedstawiono podstawowe i dopełniające wyznaczniki ekonomiczne poziomu życia w Polsce traktowane jako metryki rynkowe zamożności oraz siły nabywczej ludności. Obok podstawowych takich jak: dochód rozporządzalny, dochód do dyspozycji czy PKB na mieszkańca przedstawiono grupę mniej znanych, uważanych za dopełniające, tzw. mapy bogactwa oraz indeksy siły nabywczej. Ilustrują one bardzo znaczne zróżnicowanie zarówno w ujęciu wojewódzkim, jak i wybranych dużych miast.

The article deals with the basic and the additional economic determinants of the standard of living in Poland, which are assumed to reflect the people’s wealth and their purchasing power. Apart from the basic determinants, such as the household’s disposable income or the GNP per capita, a group of less known, but equally important determinants, such as the maps of wealth and the purchasing power indices, has been presented.
