Niniejszy artykuł stanowi wprowadzenie do kwestii murzyńskości (négritude). Przedstawia się w nim pokrótce pojęcie murzyńskości, genezę, istotę, następstwa koncepcji négritude oraz najważniejsze cechy charakterystyczne dla reprezentantów tego nurtu. Artykuł podkreśla rolę czarnych reprezentantów Ameryki Łacińskiej nie tylko w dekolonizacji struktur międzynarodowych, lecz także w dekolonizacji w sferze intelektualnej. Ostatnia część artykułu podsumowuje wcześniejsze rozważania oraz wyjaśnia przyczyny kryzysu koncepcji négritude.

This article provides an introduction to the question of blackness (négritude). It presents briefly a concept of négritude, the origins, nature and consequences of the concept of negritude and the most characteristic features of representatives of this trend. The article highlights the role of black representatives of Latin America not only in the decolonization of international structures, but also in the decolonization in the intellectual sphere. The last part of the article summarizes the foregoing discussions and explains the causes of crisis of négritude.
