W drugiej części opracowania poświęconego promocji własnego dorobku naukowego w różnych kanałach informacyjnych skupiono się na miejscach w przestrzeni sieciowej, gdzie autor w sposób dobrowolny decyduje się na zamieszczenie własnej publikacji. Pracownicy instytutów, katedr, zakładów informatologicznych i bibliologicznych wybierali m.in. Google Scholar, Academia.edu, ResearchGate, jak również prowadzili własne strony WWW czy blogi. Jednakże z bieżących udogodnień sieciowych korzysta 5–15% zainteresowanych w zależności od kanału.

In the second part of the study devoted to the promotion of scientific achievements by Polish researchers in a variety of information channels focused on places in the network where the author voluntarily decides to publish their publication. Employees of institutes or departments od library and information science choose among Google Scholar, Academia.edu, ResearchGate, as well as run their own websites or blogs. However, current network facilities using 5–15% of them, depending on the relevant channel.
