Fundusze target date – nowy produkt w ofercie towarzystw funduszy inwestycyjnych

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przybliżenie istoty funduszy target date, jak i charakterystyka pierwszych polskich funduszy tego typu. Fundusze te mają za zadanie ułatwić potencjalnym inwestorom wybór odpowiedniego funduszu w oparciu o kryterium daty przejścia na emeryturę. Nie są one jednak wolne od wad ani ryzyka. W pierwszej części niniejszego artykułu przedstawiona zostanie istota funduszy target date z uwzględnieniem różnic pomiędzy tymi funduszami a innymi zaliczanymi do funduszy cyklu życia. W części drugiej scharakteryzowane zostaną, z wykorzystaniem analizy opisowej z zestawieniami tabelarycznymi, pierwsze krajowe fundusze target date. W głównej mierze przedmiotem tej analizy będą: opłaty i koszty związane z przystąpieniem do tych funduszy oraz stosowane zasady polityki lokacyjnej ze szczególnym zwróceniem uwagi na ścieżki alokacji aktywów.

The objective of the hereby paper is bringing closer the essence of the target date funds and characteristics of the first Polish funds of this type. The main aim of these funds is to facilitate the choice of appropriate fund for potential investors based on the criterion of the retirement date. However they aren't free from disadvantages and the risk. In the first part of this article an overall description of target date funds will be described with taking differences into account among these funds and other funds ranked as life cycle funds. In part second part the first Polish target date funds will be characterized with using descriptive analysis. The main objects of analysis will be: the cost and fees associated with the accession to these funds, the investment policy and the glide paths.
