In this research we intend, on the one hand, to continue and complete the study started in other papers, and on the other, to present vesre from a global perspective. For this reason, we want to place it among other mechanisms of lexical creation available in the Spanish language. To this end, we extract data from various lexicographic sources of general character as well as of contrastive type (European Spanish ≠ American Spanish).

‘Hasta’ as a particle has been an element of discussion, since its use shows differences depending on the linguistic communities of the Spanish language; one of the highlights in this debate is that American Spanish has considered non-prescriptive effects in multiple works dedicated to the functions of this particle. The present study, by means of examples taken from the macrocorpus “El habla de Monterrey”, contrasts the evidence of oral production of the use of ‘hasta’ with the theory as presented in grammar manuals and lexicographical works. The main hypothesis that supports this work is that American Spanish has had a different development from Peninsular Spanish, and the main objective is to describe and illustrate the use that speakers of the city of Monterrey give to this particle.

La partícula ‘hasta’ ha sido un elemento de discusión, ya que su uso muestra diferencias dependiendo de las comunidades lingüísticas de la lengua española; destaca en este debate que el español americano presenta efectos considerados no prescriptivos en múltiples obras dedicadas a las funciones de esta partícula. El presente estudio, mediante ejemplos tomados de el macrocorpus El habla de Monterrey, contrasta las evidencias de producción oral del uso de ‘hasta’ con la teoría presentada por gramáticas y obras de corte lexicográfico. La hipótesis principal que sustenta este trabajo es que el español americano ha tenido un desarrollo distinto al peninsular, y el objetivo principal es describir e ilustrar el uso que los hablantes de la ciudad de Monterrey dan a esta partícula.

En el marco de las variedades del español de América se ha ido construyendo una variedad lingüística de uso común en los medios de comunicación, en las producciones audiovisuales con vocación internacional y en los doblajes realizados en Latinoamérica, conocida popularmente como español latino. Este artículo tiene como propósito analizar el concepto de español neutro — español latino, su papel como variedad estándar hispanoamericana y sus ámbitos de uso, junto con sus características lingüísticas.

Within the framework of the varieties of the Spanish language in America, there has been built a linguistic variety, popularly known as Latin Spanish, commonly used in the international media, audiovisual productions and in the dubs made in Latin America. This article aims to analyse the concept of neutral or Latin Spanish (español neutro and español latino), its role as a standard Spanish-American variety, its fields of use, as well as its linguistic characteristics.

W ramach odmian języka hiszpańskiego w Ameryce powstała pewna odmiana językowa powszechnie używana w mediach, w produkcjach audiowizualnych o międzynarodowym zasięgu i dubbingach w Ameryce Łacińskiej, popularnie zwana językiem hiszpańskim latino (español latino). Celem tego artykułu jest analiza koncepcji hiszpańskiego neutralnego (español neutro) oraz latynohiszpańskiego (español latino), jego roli jako standardowej odmiany języka hiszpańskiego i obszarów wykorzystania, a także jego charakterystyka językoznawcza.

El mecanismo de invertir el orden de las sílabas de algún vocablo a fin de forjar una palabra nueva es conocido en numerosas lenguas. En francés existe el verlan, en inglés el back slang y en español se puede indicar el vesre, es decir, un cierto modo de hablar peculiar de los porteños. El propósito de este estudio es presentar un análisis lingüístico de dicho fenómeno basado, por una parte, en los diccionarios de José Gobello, Marcelo Oliveri y Óscar Conde, y por otra, en las letras de tango que reflejan el modo de hablar de los habitantes de Buenos Aires que emplean voces lunfardescas y vésricas.

Mechanizm przestawiania sylab różnych słów, w celu stworzenia nowych wyrazów, jest znany w wielu językach. We francuskim istnieje verlan, w angielskim back slang, a w hiszpańskim vesre, które niekiedy definiuje się jako specyficzny sposób mówienia mieszkańców Buenos Aires. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie i analiza językoznawcza tego zjawiska. Praca bazuje z jednej strony na słownikach takich autorów, jak: José Gobello, Marcelo Oliveri czy Oscar Conde, a z drugiej strony na tekstach tang, które odzwierciedlają sposób mówienia mieszkańców stolicy Argentyny, używających wyrazów należących do lunfardo oraz vesre.

The mechanism of reversing the order of the syllables of a word to forge a new word is known in many languages​​. We can enumerate French verlan, English back slang and Spanish vesre; i.e. a certain way of speaking typical of Buenos Aires. The purpose of this study is to present a linguistic analysis of this phenomenon based on dictionaries of José Gobello, Marcelo Oliveri and Oscar Conde, as well as on the tango lyrics that reflect the way of speaking of the inhabitants of Buenos Aires who employ words that belong to lunfardo and vesre.
