Wprowadzenie mechanizmu resolution stanowi istotną innowację w zakresie podejścia do problemu banków zagrożonych upadłością i wpisuje się w szeroką dyskusję na temat metod rozwiązywania sytuacji kryzysowych w bankach.

The subject of discussion in the article is the problem of resolution process, in the context of its implementation in Poland, by the Bank Guarantee Fund, as a resolution authority. The introduction of the resolution mechanism is a significant innovation in the approach to the problem of banks threatened with bankruptcy and is a part of a broad discussion on the methods that can be used to help problematic banks.
