W warunkach postępującej globalizacji sytuacja rynkowa ulega znacznej zmianie. Pojawiają się nowe determinanty sukcesu osiągane przez banki, takie jak relacje z klientami, kwalifikacje i motywacja pracowników, a także wiedza i kapitał intelektualny. Dla banku najważniejszym celem jest udział w rynku, płynność i jakość świadczonych usług. W artykule przedstawiono znaczenie kontroli i controllingu w procesie zarządzania jakością na przykładzie wybranego banku.

In conditions of the acting globalization the state of the market is undergoing the paradigm shift. New determinants of the success reached by banks appear, so as relations with customers, qualifications and the motivation of employees, as well as the knowledge and the intellectual capital. For the bank a market share, a fluidity and a quality of provided services are an important aim. In the article was described meaning of the control and the controlling in the process of the quality management on the example of the chosen bank.
