This work has been initiated bu the NTIE (National Association of Business Informatics) that is heading to make considerabe effort to engage the broader busines informatics community in a dialog to promote Business Informatics as a scientific discipline and to improve educational programs. This article is an attempt to sketch the curricula guidelines for undergraduate study in Business Informatics. In the article the current curricula in Business Informatics at the leading Polish universities of economics have been described and analyzed. To provide concrete guidance on curricular structure and future developments the proposition of undergraduate study has been presented with a few exemples of actual core courses.

The purpose of this article is to present the concepts of modeling learning pathways resulting mainly from the rapidly changing application area of Business Informatics. The authors discussed in detail two concepts of learning pathways, which are based on modular and personalized learning programs. The potential benefits, risks as well as selected research problems were identified. The subject of article corresponds to a certain extent to the planned changes in the offer of Computer Science curriculum. This field of study is led by the Department of Computer Science in Economics from the University of Łódź.

The dynamic development of (ICT) information-communication technologies used in the widely understood business and in the management revealed the lack of high qualified workers on the labour market who possess the knowledge and skills of ICT application in these areas. The proposal of the new Business Informatics (BI) field of study can fill this gap. The aim of the article is the presentation of project of learning outcomes at the BI field of study. In the binding model of National Qualification Framework defining learning outcomes underlies elaboration of teaching curriculum at the BI field of study. The article discussed NQF, the rules of defining the learning outcomes, the foundamentals of education program design and indicated the possibility of the utilization of ICT (PSSOR system) in the verification of plan and the program of studies by means of directional effects.
