In the midst of today's global crisis, a true urgent need for competitive, secure and sustainable business initiatives arises, in the sense of implementing a strategy that focuses on certain key points, predicts and aims to make a profit, while, at the same time minimizes the risks, the loss of financial rights and of course the environmental pollution. The purpose of this work is to integrate learning into the world of business enterprises by exploring their common features, their potential relations as well as the impact of impending mathesis to an entrepreneurial initiative. From a marketing, financial and operational viewpoint, any contemporary successful business requires multimodality, polymorphism and adaptability to socioeconomic and spatiotemporal changes without loosing its value, for which, learning seems to be an inherent element. In that prospect, any learning procedure is not subjected to legal restrictions, its kickoff is based on the human senses, simulates recyclable and reusable energy, is risk-free and so on, qualities considered as being essentialia negotii, that are gained ex tunc and act ex nunc for a general secure entrepreneurial activity that will be adaptable to any new and rapidly changing data as well.(original abstract)

Silna konkurencja rynkowa oraz konieczność podejmowania prawidłowych decyzji w zarządzaniu, prowadzonym w wysoce niestabilnym otoczeniu zewnętrznym zwiększa zapotrzebowanie na systemy BI w przedsiębiorstwach. Dalszy ich rozwój sprawi, że swoim zasięgiem obejmą one także otoczenie zewnętrzne, wspierając współdzielenie informacji pomiędzy przedsiębiorstwem a jego klientami, partnerami czy dostawcami. Stanie się to możliwe dzięki dalszemu rozwojowi narzędzi analitycznych stosowanych w BI, a określanych terminem Data Mining. Narzędzia te w coraz większym stopniu będą wykorzystywały zaawansowane metody statystyczne, gdyż to one stanowią istotę Data Mining. Metody i techniki statystyczne stanowią fundament BI i im solidniejszy będzie ten fundament, tym bardziej wartościowe będzie wsparcie BI dla zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. Możliwości techniczne oferowane przez współczesną technologię informacyjną sprawiają, że metody statystyczne w coraz większym stopniu są zautomatyzowane. To sprawia, że do tego, aby w pełni wykorzystywać możliwości jakie daje nowoczesna technologia BI konieczne jest posiadanie dużych umiejętności zarówno w zakresie posługiwania się narzędziami analitycznymi BI, ale także - a może przede wszystkim - rozumienia i właściwego interpretowania uzyskiwanych wyników. Takie umiejętności warunkuje głęboka wiedza statystyczna poparta doświadczeniem w prowadzeniu biznesu i rozumieniem zasad jego funkcjonowania.

The market strong competition and the necessity to make correct decisions in the management process, realized in the extremely unstable external environment, enlarges the needs on BI systems in companies. Their further development will cause that with their own range they will embrace also the environment external firms to support sharing of the information among the firm and Data customers, with partners or with suppliers. It will become then possible thanks to the further development of analytic tools applicated in Business Intelligence and defined as the Data Mining. These tools in the more and more greater degree will use advanced statistical methods, because they determine the essence the Data Mining and without them the Data Mining would not perform so significant role in systems BI. Statistical methods and technics determine the foundation of Business Intelligence and the more reliable this foundation will be, the more valuable will be the Business Intelligence support for the business management. Analytic tools offered by the Information Technology in the range of the processing and the analysis of large data sets make easy the practical application of advanced statistical methods. This in turn causes that to entirely use the possibilities offered by the modern Business Intelligence technology is necessary the possession of high skills both in the range of the use analytic tools of the Business Intelligence but also - and perhaps first of all - understandings and proper interpretation of obtained results. Such skills are conditioned by the statistical profound knowledge promoted with the experience in the leadership of the business and with the understanding of rules of his performance.

Wzrastająca rola logistyki jako koncepcji zarządzania przepływami towarów i informacji wiąże się z dążeniami do rozpoznania logistycznych determinant zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem. W artykule nawiązano do badań przeprowadzonych w Katedrze Logistyki i Marketingu Uniwersytetu Opolskiego, w wyniku których zidentyfikowano następujące determinanty związane ze sferą logistyki, oddziałujące na zmiany w systemie zarządzania przedsiębiorstwem: 1) orientację przepływową, 2) kompetencje logistyki i łańcucha dostaw, 3) strategie logistyczne, 4) instrumenty zarządzania logistycznego, 5) planowanie logistyczne, 6) organizacyjne rozwiązania w sferze logistyki i zarządzania łańcuchem dostaw oraz 7) controlling logistyczny. Poza przybliżeniem istoty i podstawowych rodzajów tych determinant, w artykule nawiązano również pokrótce do zakresu oraz przejawów ich oddziaływania na zmiany w zarządzaniu przedsiębiorstwem.

The growing importance of logistics as a concept of goods and information flow management relates to the identification of logistics determinants of business management. The article presents the research results conducted by the Chair of Logistics and Marketing at Opole University, Poland. In particular, the following logistics determinants influencing business management system have been identified: 1) flow orientation, 2) logistics and supply chain competences, 3) logistics strategies, 4) logistics management tools, 5) logistics planning, 6) organizational solutions related to logistics and supply chain management and 7) logistics controlling. Apart from the nature and basic groups of these determinants, the article also presents the scope as well as the symptoms of logistics determinants influence on business management system.

Organizacja ucząca się jest modelem przedsiębiorstwa obrazującym mechanizmy działania, które pozwalają przystosować działalność biznesową do warunków gospodarki opartej na wiedzy, a także dalej ją rozwijać. Celem artykułu jest scharakteryzowanie wybranych, ale istotnych kierunków zmian w przedsiębiorstwie, jakie należy wprowadzić, aby wdrożyć koncepcję organizacji uczącej się. Omówione zagadnienia dotyczą: struktury organizacyjnej, systemu motywacji, kapitału ludzkiego, dostępu do zasobów informacji i wiedzy, klimatu organizacyjnego, procesów organizacyjnego uczenia się, zarządzania organizacją uczącą się ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem zarządzania wiedzą.

A learning organization is a model of enterprise depicting the mechanisms of operation enabling to adjust business activity to the conditions of the knowledge-based economy and develop it further. The article characterizes selected but significant directions of changes in an enterprise which must be made to implement the learning organization concept. The discussed issues concern: the organizational structure, the motivation system, human capital, the access to knowledge and information resources, organizational climate, organizational learning processes, learning organization management and knowledge management.
