This presentation tends to outline the issue of evidence with regard to computer crimes (mostly based on Articles 218, 236a and 241of the Criminal Procedure Code). It allows to state that the recent amendments in these provisions, adopted in January 2003, will probably turn out to be insufficient. The need to include further regulations concerning these pieces of evidence into the Polish criminal procedure law comes not only from rhe development of computer sciences and arising new forms of computer crimes, but also from the necessity of adjustment of the Polish law to European standards in this respect
