The paper describes the medicolegal language style of texts which are often meant for non-medical scholars. We concentrate on the contemporary requirements for the language style of medicolegal texts as found in academic publications. Traditionally, the Czech language has been used in forensic medicine instead of Latin (words with Latin roots). The core of the paper is a list and analysis of the anatomical terms extracted from autopsy protocols. We focus on the names of anatomical structures which do not have established Czech names. The possibilities of future research concerning the standardization of Czech anatomical nomenclature for speech recognition (e.g. autopsy protocols) are indicated.
