Rynek usług gastronomicznych skierowanych do osób podróżujących samochodami – stan obecny i perspektywy

Segment usług gastronomicznych kierowanych do zmotoryzowanych turystów jest tematyką, która rzadko jest przedmiotem badań i rozważań literaturowych. W niniejszym artykule zaprezentowano wybrane wyniki badań przeprowadzonych wśród przedstawicieli placówek gastronomicznych z ww. segmentu (124 respondentów) oraz potencjalnych klientów tych placówek, tj. podróżujących samochodami w celach turystycznych (704 respondentów). Z analizy rezultatów wynika, że obecnie na rynku funkcjonują trzy główne rodzaje placówek gastronomicznych usytuowanych przy drogach: tradycyjne restauracje z pełną obsługą, restauracje sieciowe (również z opcją McDrive) oraz bistra na stacjach paliw. Większość ww. lokali kieruje swoją ofertę przede wszystkim do podróżujących samochodami w celach turystycznych, ważną grupą są także osoby podróżujące służbowo. Z badań konsumentów wynika, że korzystają oni z usług gastronomicznych w trakcie podróży stosunkowo rzadko, największy odsetek jada posiłki w restauracjach, liczba zwolenników pozostałych rodzajów lokali gastronomicznych była znikoma.

The selected results of the study on the food service segment dedicated to motorized tourists are presented in this paper. The survey was conducted among food services representatives (124 respondents) and the potential clients ie. tourists that travel by passenger cars (704 respondents).The results showed that there are three main types of food service outlets located along the main roads: restaurants with full-service, network restaurants (including McDrive option) and bistros at fuel stations. Most of them dedicate their offer mainly to individual car travelers. The surveyed segment of travelers rather rarely eat in food service outlets, the most popular are full service restaurants.
