EN
Dying is a phase of living, and death is the outcome. This obvious distinction is not always preserved in language. Speaking of the good death, people sometimes think of the dying process, sometimes of death as an event that concludes the process, and sometimes of the status of being dead. Dying and death are often associated with the very end of human life, the final stage of his earthly activity and the end of what was well-known for him. Lack of a clear definition of the above mentioned notions encourages to research the reality related to many different strategies of life displaying hidden aspects of dying and death in three dimensions: biological, environmental, and psychical. The author, giving specific examples: (dying and death of values, theory, authority, dying and death in situation of mental disease, social death or as lack of inspiration), wants to draw your attention to pervasiveness of these phenomena and the necessity to reintroduce them into a wide postmodern discourse.
