The Nobel Prize in 2010 in the field of economics paid attention of economists to research related to labour market and its flexibility. The method developed by Nobel Prize laureates has changed not only the way to describe the labour market. But nowadays, related tools with this method allow us to notice some negative trends occurring in the labour market of people with disabilities. The article shows us some possibilities of applying the model to explain the phenomena occurring in the Polish labour market of people with disabilities in the years 2007–2011.

Nagroda Nobla z 2010 roku w dziedzinie ekonomii zwróciła uwagę ekonomistów na badania związane z rynkiem pracy i jego elastycznością. Metoda opracowana przez noblistów zmieniła nie tylko sposób opisu rynku pracy. Powiązane z nią narzędzia pozwalają na dostrzeżenie dziś pewnych negatywnych tendencji również na rynku pracy osób z niepełnosprawnością. Artykuł przedstawia perspektywę zastosowania modelu do wyjaśnienia zjawisk zachodzących na rynku pracy osób z niepełnosprawnością w Polsce w latach 2007–2011.
