According to the state program ‘Archive 2025’ for wide access to archival documents in Kazakhstan the web portal ‘Unified electronic archive of documents was launched’. At the moment, there is no information on the funds of the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation on this site yet, but it is planned to add it to the electronic catalog in the future. For the successful implementation of data on documents stored in the funds of the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation, it is necessary to analyze which types of documents are most popular among the archive users (both in the reading room and when executing information requests by the archive) and which need to be translated into electronic format as a priority, for this purpose, the reports of the Central State Archive of Scientific and Technical Documentation were studied for the period from 1974 to 2021.

The article deals with the notion of peace in contemporary documents of the Magisterium Ecclesiae. The analysis shows a significant development of theological reflection on the subject. John XXIII didn’t limit the Christian definition of peace to a lack of armed conflicts, but issues it from the mystery of creation. Paul VI ascribed the foundations of peace to social order (common good). John Paul II draws attention to the mystery of man (human heart as the place of peace) and presents peace as God’s gift. Benedict XVI underscores contemporary threats to peace in the world (poverty, ecologic crisis, religious freedom) and indicates ways of resolving those problems. The presented panorama of statements reveals a deepening of reflection on the subject of peace: from peace as God’s gift to peace as a task for which man is responsible; from a static definition of peace to its dynamic one. The very important task have the international institutions, too. They should resolve problems that prevent many people from fully enjoying peace.

Drawing from ethnographic fieldwork on a wage subsidy project for NEETs in London, this article examines how talk and documents are used to make sense of caseloads and clients. The article draws attention to the way that staff account for clients through using “Intervention Tales.” The use of these tales provide insights into the routine implementation of labor market interventions. The article describes the work involved in documenting staff-client interactions and selecting which clients to put forward for “live vacancies.” The article shows how organizational documents, spreadsheets, and client registration forms are used as resources for assessing “hard to engage” clients during routine activities. In this sense, intervention tales, talk, and documents provide practical resources for organizing ordinary activities, such as segmenting client caseloads and characterizing individual clients.

Commentators on the sixteen documents from the Second Vatican Council (1962-65) regularly understand the meaning of those texts to derive merely from the intentions of their authors., those bishops and experts who drafted and revised the documents for the council fathers (intentio auctoris). The texts mean what the authors meant. This is to ignore the meaning that derives from readers (intentio legentis) and the ongoing history of the text itself (intentio textus ipsius). Literary, philosophical, biblical, and legal studies illustrate how the quest for meaning takes us beyond the author of a text to recognize that the integral meaning of any text is also shaped by the history of  its interpretation and readers.
