Nell’esegesi contemporanea la teofania, che comprende la discesa dello Spirito di Dio, paragonata alla colomba, e la dichiarazione della voce dai cieli, viene analizzata separatamente dal battesimo di Gesu. Tale approccio non permette di scorgere il rapporto fra questi avvenimenti e il senso della loro sequenza per la teologia dei vangeli. Il paragone della discesa alla colomba fa riferire le parole della voce dai cieli soltanto a Gesu. In questo modo nella pericope due azioni di Gesu, la risposta data al Battista sui senso del battesimo e la visione dello Spirito, interpretano univocamente il senso delle azioni destinate a lui, cioe il battesimo e le parole del Padre.

L’annuncio della parola di Dio appare come uno dei temi più importanti della teologia di Luca-Atti. Il tema che abbiamo scelto per il nostro studio ci spinge ad esaminare determinate caratteristiche degli Atti 4,23-31. Lo scopo del nostro lavoro è quello di dimostrare, che durante le persecuzioni, Dio aiutava la comunità cristiana che si radunava in preghiera, e che questa preghiera faceva scendere lo Spirito Santo e incoraggiava i credenti ad annunciare la parola di Dio. Dopo aver stabilito la struttura interna della pericope proseguiamo con la spiegazione del testo. I successivi elementi della struttura degli Atti 4,23-31 mettono in risalto diverse caratteristiche che poi compongono questo messaggio principale del brano. L’introduzione della preghiera sottolinea il suo aspetto comunitario. L’invocazione presenta l’immagine di Dio come despo,thj, il Creatore universale e colui che parla attraverso la Scrittura. Egli porta avanti la storia della salvezza. La citazione di Sal 2,1-2 interpreta le persecuzioni contro il Messia di Dio. L’esplicazione di questa citazione afferma l’identità messianica di Cristo e applica il Sal 2,1-2 alla vita della comunità. Così l’evangelista mette in rilievo tre fatti: che le promesse, le profezie e le speranze dell’Antico Testamento si sono compiute in Gesù; che le persecuzioni contro Gesù e i suoi seguaci erano previste da Dio, dunque fanno parte del suo piano salvifico; e che Dio continua ad operare nella storia dei cristiani come ha agito nella vita del suo Unto. Le richieste rivolte a Dio Padre si concentrano sull’annuncio della parola di Dio nonostante le „loro minacce” e le persecuzioni. La risposta del Padre, accompagnata dal segno della scossa, consiste nella discesa dello Spirito Santo e nel dono della parrhsi,a per la proclamazione della buona novella.

The present study aims at presenting the role of prayer in the life of the early Church the Acts of the Apostles. First, the practice of prayer in the early Church was discussed. In light of the analysis, prayer appears as a fixed practice among the fi rst Christians. The author of the Book of Acts underscores its basic characteristics, to wit faithfulness, perseverance, and unanimity. Second, the places of gathering for prayer were discussed. As many texts from Acts revealed, besides the Jerusalem temple, the private houses were the primary places of gatherings and prayer for early Christians. Third, different approaches and forms which characterized early Christian prayer were revealed. In the final threefold part of this study, the most salient features of prayer were discussed in detail: (1) the prayer of petition, connected in particular way with the gift of the Holy Spirit; (2) the prayer uttered at some crucial moments of the history of the early Church; Luke wanted to show how the first Christians faithfully followed the lead of Jesus, the master of prayer, in their search for God’s will revealed to them in prayer; and (3) the prayer of worship and thanksgiving.

The article portrays some exegetical and theological features of the text composed by Luke of two short quotations from lsaiah (58,6; 61,1a) Luke shaped it in order to show the figure of Jesus as anointed by the Holy Spirit God's Messenger whose mission is along those of ancient prophets. According to the author of the third gospel the prophecy of ls 61,1f is related to the event of baptism (see Lk 3,21-22), where Jesus was solemnly enthroned in his office ofmessianic messenger. By using the Old Testament promise Luke showed his will of highlighting a prophetic feature of Jesus' life with a strong accent on pneumatology. The character of Jesus' mission is not just spoken words. Jesus' proclamation of salvation works always on two complementary levels: words and deeds (see Ac 10,38). In the same way the third evangelist shows the Gospel spreading out in times o f church activity and in both cases a very important feature of proclamation is an assistanceofthe Holy Spirit (see Lk 4,18f; 5,17; 6,19; 8,46).

To talk about God’s love is to talk about God Himself, because “God is love” (1 John 4:8). God’s love for men is, in the teaching of John Paul II, the foundation of the papal proclamation. Its source is the inner love of the Holy Trinity. The present article discusses the statement of St. John, who says that “God is love” (1 John 4:8). This statement speaks of the essence of God in the aspect of Trinity’s inmost being and in terms of the economy of salvation. The article also takes up the issue of love of the Father and of the Son, and the question of the Holy Spirit as the Love of the Father and the Son. The Third Person of God, coming from the Father and the Son, is the Breath of Their mutual Love.
