W artykule omówiono charakterystykę dynamicznych zdolności przedsiębiorstwa oraz podkreślono konieczność ich rozwijania w firmach działających w warunkach hiperkonkurencji. Zdolności te są specyficznym rodzajem zdolności strategicznych, które w dynamicznym otoczeniu mogą prowadzić do uzyskania przewagi konkurencyjnej przez firmę. W takim otoczeniu przedsiębiorstwo musi działać bardzo szybko, aby neutralizować przewagi konkurentów. Wymaga to natychmiastowej rekonfiguracji zasobów i umocnienia właściwych atutów. W efekcie, zamiast długotrwałej przewagi, firma buduje wiele następujących po sobie przewag tymczasowych. Działanie w warunkach hiperkonkurencji wymaga zatem dynamicznego zachowania się organizacji i wielowariantowego formułowania strategii.

The article presents the characteristics of company’s dynamic capabilities and emphasizes the necessity of their development in companies which operate in the hypercompetition. These capabilities are the specific kind of strategic capabilities, which may lead to gain the competitive advantage in a dynamic environment. In such environment a firm must act very quickly to neutralize the competitors’ advantages. It requires an immediate reconfiguration of recourses and an improvement of appropriate strengths. In result, instead of a sustainable advantage, a company creates many temporary advantages. The functioning in the terms of hypercompetition requires a dynamic behavior of an organization and formulating of a multi-variant strategy.
