Dążenie do osiągnięcia zrównoważonego rozwoju jest uwarunkowane m.in. zmianami w świadomości i zachowaniach konsumentów. Wraz ze wzrostem konsumpcji rośnie negatywne oddziaływanie i obciążenie środowiska. Rozwijanie świadomości ekologicznej i zmiana zachowań gospodarstw domowych może zminimalizować niekorzystne efekty środowiskowe. Celem artykułu jest poznanie wybranych postaw i zachowań konsumentów na rynku produktów oraz usług ekologicznych na przykładzie badań przeprowadzonych w województwie śląskim.

striving to achieve sustainable development is conditioned, among others, by changes in consumer awareness and in their behaviour. Together with the increase in consumption, the negative impact and load of the environment increase. Developing environmental awareness and change of behaviour in households can minimize adverse environmental effects. The aim of the article is learning about selected attitudes and characterize consumer behavior on the market of ecological products and ecological services on the example of research carried out in the Silesian province.
