W artykule przedstawiono istotę logistyki informacji w przedsiębiorstwach zajmujących się handlem elektronicznym wraz z przeglądem literatury z punktu widzenia logistyki informacji i aktualną sytuację rynku e-commerce w Polsce. Zaprezentowano podstawowe źródła informacji oraz ich możliwe wykorzystanie, a także nowe wyzwania, jakie stoją przed logistyką informacji w handlu elektronicznym.

The aim of the article is to present the essence of logistics of information in building competitive advantage of companies operating in the sector of e-commerce. The resource which is information is a very valuable resource for the company. From its quality depends not only the level of communication between the different departments in the company, but above all building the competitive advantage. In the article was presented a literature review from the point of view of logistics of information. Was presented the current situation of e-commerce market in Poland, basic information sources and their possible use, and also the new challenges that confront logistics of information in e-commerce.
