No cabe duda de que los enunciados paremiológicos son un fenómeno verbal muy significativo que ha sabido fijarse a través del tiempo no sólo en el lenguaje cotidiano. Por un lado, forman parte de la cultura oral de tradición popular (refranes, dichos) y por otro, constituyen una forma de expresión de carácter eminentemente culto (proverbios, sentencias, aforismos). La 1a parte del presente estudio está dedicada exclusivamente a la presencia de textos paremiológicos y “quasi-paremiológicos” en los métodos de enseñanza de idiomas, que se empleaban en los siglos XVI-XIX, es decir: método filológico, método ‹de la vía media›, peripatético, experimental, de gramática y traducción y método ‹de la doble traducción› (interlineal).

Nie ulega wątpliwości, że wypowiedzi paremiologiczne są bardzo ważnym tworem werbalnym, który z czasem zagościł na stałe nie tylko w języku potocznym. Z jednej strony są one wyrazem zakorzenienia się kultury oralnej o charakterze ludowym (powiedzenia, ludowe porzekadła), z drugiej zaś stanowią formę ekspresji o charakterze wybitnie erudycyjnym (sentencje, aforyzmy). Pierwsza część niniejszego studium została poświęcona obecności tekstów paremiologicznych w metodach nauczania języków obcych, stosowanych na przestrzeni wieków: XVI-XIX, a mianowicie w metodzie: filologicznej, de la vía media, perypatetycznej, eksperymentalnej, gramatyczno-tłumaczeniowej oraz w metodzie „podwójnego przekładu” (interlinearnej).

There is no doubt that paremiological utterances are a very important verbal product which, with time, has eventually appeared on permanent not only in the colloquial language. On the one hand, they are a manifestation of establishment of oral culture of the folk nature (sayings, folk adages), while, on the other hand, are a form of expression of the extremely erudite nature (maxims, aphorisms). The first part of this study is devoted to the presence of paremiological texts in the methods of teaching foreign languages, applied over the centuries XVI-XIX, namely in the methods: philological, de la vía media, peripatetic, experimental, grammar-translation, and in the method of ‘double translation’ (interlineal).
