Uwzględnienie kwestii środowiskowych i społecznych w działalności jest jednym z przejawów realizacji przez podmiot koncepcji społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu. W efekcie zapotrzebowania na informacje dotyczące wzajemnych interakcji pomiędzy przedsiębiorstwem a środowiskiem powstała tzw. rachunkowość środowiskowa. Jednym z jej zadań jest dostarczanie informacji do różnego rodzaju raportów środowiskowych. W artykule zidentyfikowano źródła raportów środowiskowych, a także zaprezentowano różne ich rodzaje. Ważnym obszarem rozważań była analiza zakresu informacji dotyczących środowiska w sprawozdawczości finansowej, także w ujęciu perspektywicznym.

One of the symptoms of the implementation of corporate social responsibility concept is taking into account environmental and social issues in business. The environmental (green) accounting was created as a result of the demand for information on the interactions between the enterprise and the environment. One of its tasks is to provide information to various types of environmental reports.The article identified the sources of environmental reports and presented various kinds of them. An important area of considerations was the analysis of the scope of environmental information in financial reporting, also in perspective approach.
