Skłonność do ubezpieczania się w warunkach niepewności w zależności od wysokości potencjalnej straty

Celem artykułu jest sprawdzenie, czy w warunkach niepewności skłonność do ubezpieczania się jest zależna od wysokości potencjalnej straty. W związku z powyższym celem postawiono hipotezę mówiącą, że skłonność do ubezpieczenia potencjalnej straty rośnie wraz z jej wysokością. W celu weryfikacji hipotezy przeprowadzono dwa badania eksperymentalne, każde wśród ponad 100 uczestników. Wyniki badań wskazują, że w większości przypadków badani podejmują takie same decyzje ubezpieczeniowe niezależnie od wysokości potencjalnej straty, a co za tym idzie, odsetek osób pragnących wykupić ubezpieczenie jest zbliżony dla wysokich i niskich strat.

The aim of this article is to check whether under conditions of uncertainty the willingness to buy insurance policies depends on the value of potential loss. The hypothesis to be verified is that propensity to buy insurance policy increases with the value of potential loss. In order to verify the hypothesis stated two experiments were conducted, each of them among more than 100 subjects. Results show that in most cases people take the same decisions about insurance independently of the value of potential loss and consequently the percentage of people willing to buy insurance is equal for both high and small potential losses.

  Thousands of short films (turned mainly on black & white 35 mm film raw) are preserved in Film Archives of the famous Film School in Łódź. This large and unique collection consists of the earliest documentary and fiction student film projects made by famousto-be Polish filmmakers such as: Andrzej Munk, Andrzej Wajda, Roman Polański, Jerzy Skolimowski, Krzysztof Zanussi, Zbigniew Rybczyński, Krzysztof Kieślowski, Wojciech Marczewski, Sławomir Idziak and many others. The article assesses the importance of first professional student films made in Film School in Łódź and their impact on our understanding of further way of the filmmaker and formation of his individual style.

In diesem Beitrag werden Vorteile und Nachteile bestimmter Hilfsmittel (Wörterbücher, Paralleltexte und Internetquellen) beim Übersetzen besprochen. Die Autorin des Beitrags stellt Ergebnisse eines Experiments dar, das die Fachübersetzungs-Didaktik betrifft. Ferner werden die sich aus diesem Experiment ergebenden praktischen Implikationen für Fachübersetzungsun-terricht diskutiert. Außerdem wird auch ihr Einsatz bei der Ausbildung von angehenden Übersetzern prӓsentiert, um ihnen zu zeigen, wie man die geg-ebenen Hilfsmittel beim Übersetzen von Rechtstexten (Gerichtsurteilen) effek-tiv einsetzen kann.

This article discusses the advantages and disadvantages of the use of selected sources of the knowledge of translator (dictionaries, parallel texts and online resources) in translation, the results of the experiments in the scope of specialized translation teaching and the practical implications resulting for carrying out classes of specialist translations and educating translators of the ability to make effective use of the available sources of knowledge when trans-lating legal texts ‒ court judgments.

W niniejszym artykule omówiono wady i zalety wykorzystywania wybranych źródeł wiedzy tłumacza (słowników, tekstów paralelnych oraz zasobów internetowych) w przekładzie, przedstawiono wyniki eksperymentu z zakresu dydaktyki przekładu specjalistycznego i płynące z niego implikacje praktyczne dla prowadzenia zajęć z przekładu specjalistycznego oraz kształcenia u adeptów zawodu tłumacza umiejętności efektywnego wykorzystywania dostępnych źródeł wiedzy podczas tłumaczenia tekstów prawniczych ‒ wyroków sądowych.
