Paper presents the changes in the use of advisory services by farmers in the years 1992-2011. Empirical material underpinning this research were IAFE-NRI data gathered in 76 villages across the country. The research sample covered over 3300 private farms with the area over 1 ha of agricultural land. In the paper a statistical method was used. Conducted analyzes showed that the share of farm managers using agricultural advice has increased from 14 to 36%. Selected statistically significant determinants of establishing relationships between farmers and advisory bodies were also examined.
