Artykuł zawiera statystyczny opis zasobów naturalnych, problemów zagrożenia i ochrony środowiska oraz gospodarki wodnej, a także ekonomicznych aspektów ochrony środowiska. Przedstawiono ocenę stanu środowiska w Polsce w 2007 r. w odniesieniu do stanu w 2000 r. Podstawowym źródłem danych były materiały z badań i sprawozdawczości GUS. Ponadto, wykorzystano dane ze sprawozdawczości ministerstw, monitoringu oraz innych źródeł danych takich jak: ekspertyzy, inwentaryzacje, raporty.(abstrakt oryginalny)

The article presents a statistical description of quantitative and qualitative natural resources, problems related to threat and protection of the environment and water management as well as economic aspects of environmental protection. The assessment of the condition of the environment in Poland in 2007 comparing with 2000 is presented. The main source of the data were CSO surveys and reports. Moreover administrative data from ministries, monitoring as well as expert opinions, inventories and reports have been used.(original abstract)

The article presents a statistical description of natural resources, threat to and protection of the environment and water management as well as economic aspects of environmental protection. The study presents the estimation of the environment in Poland in 2008 in comparison to 2000. Survey data and reports of Polish CSO were the main source of the study. Furthermore, reporting data of ministries and monitoring, expert opinions as well as inventories were used in the research.(original abstract)
