The article presents corrections, amendments and additions to the present state of knowledge about the family relationships through marriages of the Bninski family of the Lodzia clan in the first half of the 15th century. It was one of the most powerful noble families in Greater Poland during the Late Middle Ages. The new facts mostly concern the families from which the wives of several prominent Bninskis came: Andrzej (son of Andrzej, castellan of Kalisz), his sons: Mikolaj and Piotr, castellan of Miedzyrzecz; his grandsons (sons of Mikolaj): Piotr, castellan of Lad, and Wojciech, castellan of Miedzyrzecz; and great grandson (son of Wojciech) Jan Bninski of Smigiel. There are also some new findings concerning the female progeny of voievode Stanislaw of OstrĂ³g.
