'Pomeranian Printer: Brochure of Trade Union of Printers and Relational Profession in Poland' was published by Pomeranian department of this federation in 1933-1939. For first three years it was published in Grudziadz and since 1936 in Torun. Editors of monthly provided important information to all readers and formed awareness and attitudes of printers. In this way they were making good relationship in organization and between printers.
'Gazeta Grudziadzka' was edited in 1894-1918 by twenty responsible editors and sixteen assistant editors who were employed on a temporary basis by Wiktor Kulerski's paper. Regardless of their origin, age and education, all of them were committed to creating a newspaper of value to Poles living throughout the German state. Judging from the popularity of the Grudziadz paper, they were successful in their task.
The article describes the activity of the Prussian jurisdiction aimed at restricting the freedom of speech in Prussia-governed districts. Using the example of Wiktor Kulerski's periodical, the mechanisms of restraining the free Polish press as well as Polish journalists' resistance to germanisation were described.
