The letters of H. Bergson and Marie Skłodowska-Curie are to be found among the M. Curie papers kept at the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris (call nos. BN NAF 1844, fol. 227- 245). They were written during the years 1922-1925, and are relevant to organisational issues of the International Commission on Intellectual Cooperation of the League of Nations. The content of this correspondence involves neither the scientific interests of the two great scholars, nor their world view, but is concentrated chiefly on attempts at creating a system of international scientific bibliography and organizing the Institute of International Scientific Cooperation in Paris. Within this scope discussed are among other personal matters and the issues concerned with H. Bergson’s wish to resign the post of chairman of the Commission due to his declining health.
