The main objective of the article is to prove that the Islamic Republic of Iran from its beginning pragmatically used the so-called the Palestinian issue to strengthen its position in the Middle East and intensified its involvement when the international situation became disadvantageous for it. The facts showed that the Iranian authorities after 1979 were not interested in – despite of repeated declarations – ending the Middle East conflict, but its extension and escalation. Spearheading a common front against Israel Muslim countries, Iran wants to present itself in the region as the main defender of the interests and values of the Islamic world. Tehran’s attitude towards the Palestinians and Israel is an example of an extraordinary metamorphosis of Iran’s foreign policy, which was the result of changes taking place in Iran itself. It consisted in the transition from a „silent alliance” with Israel to recognize the Jewish state as one of the major – apart from the United States – enemies of the Islamic Republic. In opposition to its own propaganda, the Iranian authorities have repeatedly taken secret talks with Israel. Additionally, they have suggested USA that they are able to reduce support for the Palestinians if their demands will be met. Iran pragmatic and utilitarian uses of the Palestinian question to pursue their particular political objectives

Iran pragmatycznie i utylitarnie wykorzystuje kwestię palestyńską do realizacji swoich partykularnych celów politycznych. W opozycji do swojej własnej propagandy władze irańskie same wielokrotnie podjęły tajne rozmowy z Izraelem.
The Palestinian people which is vying for independence amidst its struggle against Israel, has become a divided house both ideologically and territorially, with two rival leaderships contenting for the hearts of their followers. While the Palestinian Authority, which had signed the Oslo Agreement in 1993, has taken its resistance from violence and strives to conclude an agreement for its independence with Israel, and has held under its control, with some Israeli help, the West Bank, the Hamas, which has objected to, and refuted any idea of settling peacefully with Israel, has seized the rule of Gaza and established a radical government which does not recognize the PA’s primacy in Palestinian politics. The decision between those two competing authorities may either decide the fate of the Palestinian people in the years to come, or doom it to insolubility.
Issues around which the focus is at stake, for the ongoing Holy Land in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict and its impact on the Islamic Resistance Movement. The dispute, which still has not found a solution took on the character of the war of civilization of Islam and the West. Significantly expanded its boundaries and is not just a conflict over land, but the conflict unfolding on several levels – military, ethnic and religious controversy, which engage in other countries recognizing the danger of its further escalation. This article aims to analyze the role of Hamas in the disputed territories, its origins, the links ideological organizational structure. The starting point for the delineation of the relationship is to present contemporary political events and the analysis of stereotypes and misconceptions, chich became the basis of mutual aversion two years warring sides in the conflict.
Despite the hopes of the Palestinians, the outbreak of the Arab Spring, instead of accelerating positive changes, led to a significant deterioration of the situation in the region and in the Palestinian Authority itself. Positive economic processes have been stopped. Successive Israeli military operations devastated the Gaza Strip. The divisions on the West Bank ruled by the Palestine Liberation Organization and Hamas controlling the Gaza Strip deepened. Social sentiment among Palestinians has deteriorated. In view of the emergence of the so-called Islamic State in the region, the international community, in particular the US, lost interest in resolving the Middle Eastern conflict. The moving of the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, in May 2018, was a blow to the Palestinians. But what’s the worst, is the loss of Israeli trust to the Palestinians, especially the fact that the idea of a two-state solution has been questioned in Israel. The partial success that the Palestinians achieved by obtaining the status of an observer in the United Nations in 2012 does not balance the losses that the 2011–2018 period brought to the Palestinian cause. There are many indications that the Palestinian National Authority is at a crossroad, on the eve of changes that will have to take into account the changes that have taken place in recent years.

Wbrew nadziejom Palestyńczyków wybuch Arabskiej Wiosny, zamiast przyśpieszyć pozytywne przemiany doprowadził do pogorszenia sytuacji w regionie i samej Autonomii Palestyńskiej. Zostały zatrzymane oczekiwane procesy gospodarcze. Doszło do kilku dewastujących Strefę Gazy operacji militarnych Izraela.
The Gaza Strip has been an area of military operations in the 21st century by the Hamas organization and Palestinian Islamic Jihad against Israel. In response to the activity of the Islamic groups, the Israeli armed forces have conducted four major military operations. The purpose of this paper is to present this asymmetric conflict conducted in urban terrain and the new types of military technology used there. The evaluation is based on the experience of the military operations conducted there. The advantage that Israel gained was due to, among other things, the use of intelligence and reconnaissance methods, as well as the use of software based on artificial intelligence. However, Israeli troops suffered heavy human losses, which indicates that in urban combat tactical and technological superiority does not always work. By preparing underground installations and tunnels, the Palestinians were able to neutralize the Israeli army’s advantage by using ambushes, stealthy maneuvers by subdivisions, exits to the rear of the Israeli army, or the ability to make a quick escape. However, they lacked effectiveness against the ultra-modern Iron Dome anti-aircraft system, or against armored vehicles. This contradicts opinions about the unsuitability of armoured weapons in urban combat. Experience gained in described military operations should be used in future military conflicts conducted in urbanized Europe.

Zaprzecza to opiniom o nieprzydatności broni pancernej w walkach miejskich.
The development of the Internet and social media brings many advantages and disadvantages – including new ways of developing terrorism. Facebook, Twitter and other popular platforms are used by terrorist organizations to recruit and spread their propaganda around the world. Using modern techniques, terrorists successfull radicalize the societies of many European countries – especially young people. This poses new security challenges for the European Union, which tries to minimize the risk by means of new regulations and provisions. A special unit for monitoring the Internet - EU IRU, established in 2015, is one of the main pillars of the fight against Internet terrorism.

Rozwój technologii internetowych i mediów społecznościowych daje wiele nowych możliwości jak i sprawia nowe zagrożenia, włączając nowe sposoby promocji i rozwoju działalności terrorystycznej.
