The article concerns the subject of shaping hacker community and the development of hacker culture and also the impact of these processes on the development of the Internet. This community began to form under the influence of collaborations of the computer programmers who work with first computers and computer networks.Its beginnings are linked with MIT, but it is computer networks that expanded and integrated it, as well as helped to express the subjective link. The hacker culture is a derivative of individual views and opinions, academic affiliation and material condition of being. It is based on such values as cooperation, creativity, passion and freedom. These values are placed in mere structure of the Internet. The Net contributed to creating the paradigm of informationalism, for which the hacker culture is becoming an ethical foundation.
