The IT system of surveillance over the movement of each of the dispatched items plays a significant role. Shipping reaching the right place at the specified time increases the effectiveness of the company. The quick pace of the transfer of items from the payer to the payee requires a skillful management of information, which involves the creation of an appropriate IT tool. In this article the authors present how the IT system tracks the movement of shipments, and how management should implement the systems to meet the requirements of both, companies, as well as customer.

The article discusses the issues of cyber-crime regulations in the Polish Penal Code of 1997 and whether they are in accordance with the Council Framework Decision 2005/222/JHA on attacks against information systems. In fact, it is composed of two parts. The first one deals with the characteristic features of the Framework Decision 2005/222/JHA provisions which include definitions of the basic concepts used in it and descriptions of behavior that, according to the European Union legislator, should be treated as criminal by the legal systems of the European Union member states. The second part discusses the Polish regulations in comparison with the provisions of this decision and makes an attempt to assess it and present conclusions de lege ferenda.

PKO BP, the biggest Polish Bank, ought to change its structure due to implementation new IT system.

The article presents the opportunities of using IT systems for the sake of cost and income budgeting in a company. The article lists the necessary organizational changes to be introduced in order to ensure efficiency and effectiveness of the budgeting process. The article also points out the risks connected with the implementation of the IT system supporting controlling and presents the most frequent irregularities occurring in the budgeting process.
