In this paper, it was accepted and considered as leading, the assumption, according to which the condition of the organisation's functioning, whether it is in the dimension of duration (stability), or the development (expansion), are its abilities to create innovative behaviour. The objectives adopted to the execution encourage the authors to take the theoretical reflection and empirical research. At the theoretical level, the authors' intention is conducting the in-depth, literature studies in the scope of the innovative activity of the companies and formulation of the model of its evaluation. In the further part of this paper, the authors intend to measure the innovation in one of the manufacturing plants representing the agricultural machinery sector.
