Ryzyko jest nieodłącznym elementem wszelkich przedsięwzięć, w tym dotyczy także projektów inwestycyjnych. Infrastrukturalne projekty inwestycyjne charakteryzują się zazwyczaj dużą złożonością działań oraz wysokimi nakładami inwestycyjnymi, finansowanymi ze środków publicznych. Stąd ważnym aspektem zarządzania takimi projektami jest zarządzanie ryzykiem na etapie decyzji o podjęciu, a następnie na etapie ich wdrażania. W opracowaniu tym ukazano studium wykonalności jako użyteczne narządzie zarządzania ryzykiem w projektach infrastrukturalnych.

Risk is the relevant element of all activities, including investment projects. Infrastructure investment projects characterize mostly numerous complexities of activities, as well as high investment inputs, financing from public funds. Thus, the important aspect of managing such projects is risk management in the phase of making decision, and next in their implementation. In the thesis there has been shown a feasibility study as a useful means of risk management in infrastructure projects.
