El título del presente artículo es: „Nombre „Jacob-Santiago” en el contexto literario y teológico del Nuevo Testamento”. En los escritos del Nuevo Testamento aparecen dos formas gramaticales del nombre „Jacob - Santiago”: Ἰακώβ y Ἰάκωβoς. La primera forma se aplica al patriarca Jacob, padre de José, esposo de María. La segunda forma se aplica a las demás personas que llevan este nombre. El propósito del presente artículo es identificar los personajes del Nuevo Testamento que llevan el nombre „Jacob - Santiago” y presentar un resumen del contexto teológico y bíblico original de su uso. En el caso de algunos personajes, no es fácil determinar su identidad de forma definitiva. Las características presentadas en este artículo tienen como objetivo principal el ordenar y proporcionar una introducción para futuras investigaciones.

The article is titled: “Name James in a literary and theological perspective of New Testament”. In New Testament texts appear two grammatical forms of the name Jacob/James: Ἰακώβ and Ἰάκωβoς. The first form is applied to the patriarch Jacob, and Jacob the father of Joseph the husband of Mary. The second form refers to other persons bearing that name. The purpose of this article is to identify persons named Jacob/James in the New Testament scriptures. The second stage is presentation of the outline of their original theological context. In some cases the final identification is not easy. Presented characteristics have primarily ordering purpose and as an introduction to further research.
