The article presents selection criteria and examples of periodicals included in publication 'Bibliographic outline of the press in historical provinces - Eastern and Western Prussia' until 1945 which is being prepared by the author. The basis for the Pomerania part of the publication was 'Bibliography of Pomeranian periodicals' ('Bibliografia Czasopism Pomorskich' - BCP) edited by Henryk Baranowski in 1960. The author compares results from 'Bibliographic outline…' to BCP contents and briefly describes periodicals not included in BCP. These periodicals may be considered as forgotten or unknown until this time. There are 5 such periodicals published in Chelmno area, 3 periodicals in Wabrzezno area and 2 periodicals in Tuchola area (5 in total, including Ukrainian and Russian periodicals). For the Polish reader, information on first Polish periodicals, unknown up until now, seems especially important. The periodicals, published in various towns of Kujawsko-Pomorskie region, include 'Gazeta Chojnicka' from 1900/01, 'Gazeta Tucholska' from 1913 and 'Gazeta Chelmzynska' from 1913-1915.
