Na przykładzie teorii znaku ikonicznego Kazimierza Świrydowicza krytycznie omawiam teorie semantyczne dla znaków ikonicznych oparte na koncepcji podobieństwa i antykonwencjonalizmie. Przedstawiam również główne założenia, które powinna spełniać adekwatna teoria semantyczna dla znaków ikonicznych.

On the basis of Kazimierz Świrydowicz’s view on the theory of iconic signs, I critically discuss semantical theories of iconic signs that are based on the concept of resemblance and anti-conventionalism. I also present the main desiderata, that should be covered by an adequate semantic theory for iconic signs, as well.
