The aim of this article is to present the history of Truskawiec Health Resort, using scientific materials, pre-Second World War newspapers and postcards, coming from the author's collection. Following aspects will be mentioned: the history of the town from the old times to the recent period, biographies of two important characters: Kazimierz Pelczar and Rajmund Jarosz, whose lives were strictly connected with Truskawiec and also famous guests from the country and abroad- being treated or just spending time in the city. Much attention was given to the period between the First and the Second World War.

Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zarysu dziejów uzdrowiska Truskawiec, z wykorzystaniem m.in. materiałów naukowych, przedwojennej prasy czy pocztówek pochodzących ze zbiorów własnych. Omówione zostały następujące aspekty: historia miejscowości od dziejów najdawniejszych po czasy współczesne, zarys dwóch wybitnych postaci związanych z Truskawcem – Kazimierza Pelczara i Rajmunda Jarosza– a także sławnych gości tego miejsca. Dużo uwagi poświęcono latom 1918–1939.
